FALL DECOR

Phew, it’s finally Fall, which in Nashville means lots of rain, but less humidity than summer (wait, how is that possible!?). The leaves haven’t even started turning yet, but I can still pretend and tap in to my midwestern memories. I currently have a roasted pecan candle burning, a cozy sweater on I’m seriously researching crock pot recipes. Fall has arrived in our house.

My design challenge every Fall is to figure out a way to keep my color scheme of navy/blush and incorporate hints of autumn tones. And this year I’ve fallen in love with the color - wine. Because wine, duh! And because it’s the perfect blend from blush to red.

Florals - Hobby Lobby.

Pumpkins - Hobby Lobby. I bought a bunch of bright orange plastic pumpkins and some acrylic paints and just messed around until they were swirly shades of pink and wine.
