IKEA SIDEBOARD HACK

Our dining room space is a bit tricky because it’s huge, but it’s narrow. So, once we settled on a table and chairs we liked, there wasn’t much space around the perimeter for furniture. I looked everywhere, but I never found something wide and shallow enough for that huge wall. So, when I can’t find the right piece, I make my own!

This beauty consists of three IKEA IVAR upper cabinets. I wanted it to feel more “built in”, so we mounted them on the wall and put a simple white wood casing around them for a more finished look. Now I have more storage and another place to decorate. I love this ikea hack!
